With 38 years legal experience, the youngest recipient of the prestigious Master of Law degree and over 450 million dollars in settlements won, Jonathan has proven record of success.
Licensed in both Maryland and Washington DC, Jonathan is a member of the D.C Bar and Maryland Bar associations and is a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
A fourth generation Baltimorean, after graduating with honors from the University of Maryland, Jonathan went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland before receiving his Master of Law degree at George Washington University.
Starting his legal career as a clerk at Pitts, Wyke and Nicholas in 1982, Jonathan went on to become a full partner at the firm in 1987. Continuing to demonstrate the depth of his knowledge Jonathan was recognized with Cynthia Nicholas as a United States Chapter 13 trustee.
Starting in 1990 Jonathan as a full partner at Umbright and Resnick demonstrated the depth of his international legal expertise and was the negotiating lead council for key business considerations in Costa Rica.
As the founder and managing partner of Resnick law, Jonathan continues to leverage his considerable legal experience by aiding his clients in personal injury, immigration and investment cases.
Married to the love of his life for 37 years, they have two wonderful children together, one of which is a practicing attorney in the state of Maryland.
When he is not fighting for his clients Jonathan enjoys rescuing animals and is an avid tennis player. Jonathan demonstrates his knowledge of investing and his commitment to the Baltimore community through his active investment locally.
